Since I was a kid, I've always liked science fiction (Star Trek was one of my favorites). The past year or so, I've been hooked on reading vintage science fiction books - ones from the 30s - 80s - in the original printings if I can get them. My love of science fiction has been the basis for the series of images I call "Monsters" - which are digital paintings derived from natural and handmade textures.

First blog
Finally getting around to doing this. This is my first attempt at blogging. My name is Bruce Hull. I am a graduate of the Columbus College of Art & Design with a degree in Visual Communications. I have been a professional graphic designer/photographer for 25 years. I enjoy "creating" images/art with any medium, whether it be drawing, painting, photography or whatever. I see a potential image in everything.
